It is very very true that we have a high concentration of extremely "faithful" people down here, who's only concern with their religion is the fact that they have faith. I used to be a christian and I understand the bible very well and I can still draw some skin tingling sensations from its <i>stories</i>, while realizing the impact of bad religion in society today. The problem I think is that people don't take their religion seriously enough and instead focus all on faith, making them automaticly assume things like "every quote about the bible is good" or "because so and so is a christian they are a great person" when in the way I see it they just aren't really religious about anything at all besides blind faith. But as far as science is concerned to think that the world and all our wonders were not created by some ultimate power is blind faith as well, as their is no proof either way. This is not all christians just alot of people. Everyone judges or views the world in their own way in my opinion that goes hand in hand with evolution. I hope that evolution brings us to the point though were our religion will have absolutely no impact on our real oneness, while maintaining our uniqueness. This is the way I interpret the bible and many other cultural religious texts. Hating a human for faith in their theory is not open minded. And anyway it is a theory in progress for many christians duh they just use it as a backbone just as I have faith in my theory that evolution is a divine power and their is some fantastical wonderful force or energy to it that the world has yet to describe in words. who knows in the end they may be right about their own tripped out revelations and apocalypse and I'll be wrong but I don't deny that possibility, I just file it as different in my head and move on to the next thing in life its really not a big deal. But to get a back on topic somewhat lol though I do think that it is twisted that we have the technology and resources to provide the world with clean efficient energy cheaply enough to be paid for with tax dollars alone and we just don't, I also think its because their just isn't enough people protesting this stuff. But water isn't really a worry because it is already cheap XD lol. Benjamin Franklin would be pissed though if he knew what our society was like today and blame us all for not rebelling! We don't have to use guns we just have to get all the sheeple together for a well thought out coherent and consistent sheep protest and we could achieve something. But untill we stop putting all our time in blogs and spend some out into the streets nothing is going to happen. Most media is not as biased as conspiracy theorists think and when enough people make a big enough scene with a well thought out message their isn't much the media can do to twist it. So... uh do whats true! true to you! and let others have that right as well! You'll never convince anybody of anything using harsh language and if your "knowledge " can't be passed on than what good is it to anything in life? A dead end? If you tried to reach out to people with compassion like <i>good</i> christians and other religious followers of compassionate nature do, I promise you your beliefs would be much more widespread. Compassion may be the only perpetual energy we ever create as it is the only thing which in its true form gives more than it receives and we can produce it all day long as long as we're alive if we all wanted too. <i>We</i> just have to do it. Anything that divides us from loving one another and working together is a wall that needs to be broken down.
