pentagram: Penta- as in derived from greek meaning .. 5 not six.
hexa is 6 as in hexagram and so on.

In any case, as a satanist (LaVeyan) I can say, that is NOT a satanist icon. The icons most commonly used are the pentagram (used often in old religions, generally symbolizing the elements and spirituality) the inverted pentagram (triumph of matter over spirit – the top point on a pentagram normally means spirit) and the sigil of Baphoment (which has the traditional “Satan Goat” head, plus the Hebrew for “Leviathan” which was a fearsome Bible creature).
